Deep Rest for Women with Monika

A gentle, supported practice to release tension, open the body, and rest deeply

A 70-minute monthly, gentle, floor-based class offering a space to slow down, soften, and rest — while gently opening the body and releasing built-up tension.

In a busy and demanding world, this is a chance to step away from the noise and take time just for yourself.

A quiet pause at the start of your month, before everything begins to fill up again.

This class may feel especially supportive if you:​

  • Feel overwhelmed or mentally busy

  • Are often tired or low in energy

  • Find it difficult to switch off and relax

  • Would like a calm space to reconnect with yourself

  • Feel stiff, tight, or in need of a gentle stretch and release

No experience is needed — everything is gently guided, and you’ll be supported throughout.

What you can expect

A slow, floor-based practice where you are mostly still, supported, and gently guided.

  • A small number of supported poses using bolsters, cushions, and blankets

  • Time in each shape to release tension, soften, and open the body

  • Gentle breathing and guided meditation to calm the mind

  • A quiet, softly lit space with calming music

  • Space to rest and move at your own pace

What to bring

  • Yoga mat (available to borrow)

  • Any personal props you’d like to use

  • One or two blankets 

  • Cushion or pillow

  • Comfortable clothes 

  • Cosy socks

If you feel drawn to attend this monthly Deep Rest class, you can join on a pay-as-you-go basis at £15 per session.​

 

If you also attend other yoga classes with me, you may prefer a 5 or 10 class pass, which offers better value and can be used across all lasses.
